AIRCRAFT MAINTENANCE ENGINEER - Multiple locations - Canada

Description

The AME is responsible for ensuring that all aircraft maintenance is accomplished in accordance with the customer’s policies and procedures. As an AME you are also responsible for ensuring all aircraft technical documents and Transport Canada Regulations are adhered to.

Responsibilities:
As a AME Technician, you will be required to:

  • Perform general maintenance and complex repairs on aircraft structures and systems.  This may include troubleshooting, installations and removals, and inspections on the aircraft.
  • Adhere to general work rules and company policies and procedures applicable to work area and job functions.

Requirements

Qualifications, Experience & Requirements:

  • Possess an AME license OR possess the “A” license OR are currently attending school to obtain an AME license.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language in accordance with TC Regulations.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • Standard Aviation Tool Kit required.
  • Must be able to obtain a Restricted Area Pass issued by Transport Canada and an AVOP.
  • Criminal Background Check & Compliant to Drug and Alcohol screening checks are mandatory.

  • Physical Demands: The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, Position requires frequent walking, standing and/or climbing.
  • Work Environment: Ability to work in confined spaces and in a hangar and ramp environment.
